3. Send it in by 25 October.

  A whole scary story in 100 words or fewer.

  Retell a legend in 6 to 12 panels. Stick figures welcome.

• Acrostic or Limerick Poetry

  Short, spooky and clever.

  Run a real survey, chart it, defend a conclusion.

  Analyse a film dataset and write a studio memo.

Prizes and feedback

• Amazon gift cards: $10 for winners and $5 for runners-up in each age group.
• Prizes add up across contests.
• Every entrant receives feedback on their work.
• Winners and runners-up may be eligible for a free trial class, based on availability.
